Calling all worthy causes without websites/email
January 7th, 2007 by matt
I’ve been thinking for some considerable time that I’d like to contribute some of my free time to helping worthy projects adopt free software. Since I have quite a lot of webhosting space and bandwidth available, I’d like to offer to help setup a website and/or email services for free for some charitable organisations that need a helping hand in this direction. If a website is required, I’ll help choose and setup the software and theme, and setup accounts for editing content. If email, I’ll be happy to manage the accounts.
So if you are involved in or know of such an organisation which might be interested, whether it is email, a forum, a plain website, or anything else, please let me know!
I’ll give precedence to any organisations that particularly interest me.
Equally, I’d be more than happy to help out in my free time with any local (London) organisation interested in adopting free software and discovering the empowerment of using software developed collaboratively.
